Patient Experience
Had my gallbladder out last week. The first couple days were rough, I won't lie. But Dr. Yassin and his team had a clear plan for the pain. They checked on me regularly, adjusted things when needed, and explained what each ache probably was. It wasn't magic, but it was managed. I'm moving around more each day now, and that's because the recovery part was taken seriously. (Patient of Dr. Yassin)
Appendicitis. Went to Burjeel, saw Dr. Yassin El-Shahat. He confirmed it quickly, scheduled surgery. Procedure went fine. Staff was efficient. Follow-up was clear. I'm healed. That's it. (Patient of Dr. Yassin)
I was quite nervous before my hernia operation. Dr. Yassin has a very calm way about him; he listened to all my worries without rushing. The hospital itself is huge and a bit overwhelming, but his manner made it feel smaller. After the surgery, he personally came to see how I was doing, even late in the evening. It felt like genuine care, not just a routine check. I'm so grateful for that kindness during a stressful time. (Patient of Dr. Yassin)
Finally got my knee sorted! After months of putting it off, I saw Dr. Yassin at Burjeel. Yeah, the parking garage was a mission, but once I got upstairs, things moved. He was straight-up about what the surgery involved and what recovery would be like. Waking up after was uncomfortable, but they were on it with meds. Now, the relief is incredible! I can walk without that constant pinch. So glad I went through with it. (Patient of Dr. Yassin)
