Patient Experience
I'd been to a few doctors about this constant fatigue and weird joint pain. Everyone said it was stress or just getting older. Dr. Ghosh was different. He actually listened, asked about my family history, and ordered a specific blood test no one else had. Turns out it was something called polymyalgia rheumatica. Starting treatment felt like getting my life back. He didn't just guess; he figured it out.
Had to get my gallbladder out. Honestly, I was pretty nervous about the whole surgery thing. But Dr. Ghosh explained everything in simple terms, drew a little diagram on his notepad, and answered all my 'what if' questions without rushing. The surgery itself went just as he said it would. Recovery was straightforward. Sometimes simple and smooth is exactly what you need.
The Apollo facility is nice, but what really stood out was the team. The front desk lady remembered my name on my second visit, which was a nice touch. The nurse who took my vitals saw I was anxious and cracked a joke about the blood pressure cuff. It made me relax. Even the person who brought the discharge papers was clear and patient. Dr. Ghosh is great, but his staff makes the whole process less stressful.
My teenage son had a bad stomach issue and was really embarrassed to talk about it. Dr. Ghosh has this calm way about him. He spoke directly to my son, not just to me, and made him feel like his concerns were valid. He didn't use baby talk or complicated jargon. He just talked to him like a person. Seeing my kid open up and actually trust a doctor was a huge relief for me.
