Patient Experience
I'd been feeling off for months, tired and with this nagging pain. A couple of other doctors just gave me general advice. Dr. Sukaveni was different. She actually sat and listened, asked a lot of specific questions, and ordered tests others hadn't thought of. It turned out to be something pretty uncommon, not serious if caught early, which she did. I'm just relieved someone finally put the pieces together.
Had to get a small cyst removed. Honestly, I was nervous at first, but Dr. Sukaveni explained everything so clearly it calmed me right down. The procedure itself was quick, and she checked in the next day to see how I was healing. It was all very straightforward, no drama. The scar is barely noticeable now.
The hospital itself is nice and clean. I had to wait a bit past my appointment time, which is pretty normal anywhere, but the front desk staff were really apologetic about it. The nurse who took my vitals was gentle and cracked a joke that made me smile. It's the little things that make a difference when you're not feeling great.
What I remember most is how Dr. Sukaveni talked to my elderly mother. She didn't just talk at her; she made sure she understood, speaking calmly and without any rush. She has a way of making you feel like you're the only person in the room. You don't feel like just another case file with her.
