Patient Experience
I'd been feeling run-down for months, and my local GP just kept saying it was stress. Dr. Dinakara actually listened. He didn't rush me, asked questions about things I thought were unrelated, and ordered a specific test no one else had. Turns out it was a thyroid issue that was messing with everything. He explained it in a way that finally made sense. I'm on medication now and feel like myself again.
Had to get a small cyst removed. Honestly, I was nervous at first, but Dr. Dinakara made it so straightforward. The whole thing at Medicover Hoodi was quickin and out in a few hours. The procedure itself was fine, barely felt a thing. He checked in the next day himself to see how the healing was going. It was just a simple thing, but it went exactly as you'd hope.
The clinic was busy when I went, had to wait a bit, but the front desk staff were really patient. The nurse who took my vitals was lovely and chatted to distract me. The place at Medicover is clean and doesn't feel as clinical as some hospitals. It's a small thing, but when you're not feeling great, a friendly face makes a difference. Dr. Dinakara's team seems to get that.
What stuck with me was how Dr. Dinakara talks to you. He sits down, makes eye contact, and never makes you feel silly for asking questions. I had a lot of anxiety about some stomach problems, and he was just very calm and direct. He drew a little diagram on his notepad to show me what was probably happening. It felt like talking to a very knowledgeable, kind uncle, not just a doctor.
