Patient Experience
Been seeing Dr. Govil for my blood pressure for almost 8 years now, since he was at his old clinic. Followed him to Apollo. That's the thing—you find a doctor who listens, who remembers your history without having to dig through the file every time, and you stick with them. He's never rushed me, even when the clinic is busy. It's just solid, reliable care.
I was so anxious before my appointment. Had this weird pain for weeks and was imagining the worst. Dr. Govil just had this calm way about him. He actually let me explain everything, asked simple questions, and said 'Let's just figure this out, step by step.' Didn't make me feel silly for being worried. Left with a clear plan and, honestly, a lot less fear. The hospital's huge and a bit overwhelming, but his clinic felt okay.
Dr. Govil is good. Fixed my stomach issue that two other doctors couldn't. Explained things clearly, no unnecessary tests. Waiting time was average for Apollo. Would recommend.
Okay, full story. I went to Apollo BLR with what I thought was just a bad flu. Felt awful. The reception sent me to Dr. Govil. He did the usual check, but then he noticed my fingers looked a bit puffy, which I hadn't even seen. Asked me a bunch of questions about my joints and energy levels over the past year. Turns out, it wasn't just a flu; he suspected something underlying and ran specific tests. He was right. I'm now on treatment for something we caught early. The parking that day was a nightmare, and I had to wait a bit, but honestly, that extra attention to detail made all the difference.
