Patient Experience
I'd been to a couple of doctors about this nagging fatigue and joint pain, and everyone just said it was stress. Dr. Patil was different. She actually sat and listened to every little thing, ordered some tests other doctors hadn't thought of. Turns out it was something pretty rare. She explained it all to me and my husband without making us feel stupid. I'm on treatment now and finally starting to feel like myself. She just didn't give up.
Had to get a minor cyst removed. Honestly, I was nervous at first any hospital visit makes me anxious. But Dr. Patil's whole process was so straightforward. She told me exactly what would happen, how long it would take, and what the scar might look like. The procedure itself was quick, and the recovery was exactly as she said it would be. No surprises, which is exactly what I wanted.
The hospital itself is nice, but what stood out was the team. From the front desk person who helped me find my way to the nurse who saw I was anxious and got me a glass of water, everyone was kind. Even the person who cleaned the room smiled and said hello. It made a long day of tests feel a little less cold and clinical. Dr. Patil's assistants were also really on the ball with scheduling and follow-up calls.
What I'll remember most is how Dr. Patil talked to my elderly mother. Mom gets confused easily and is scared of doctors. Dr. Patil didn't rush. She held her hand, looked her in the eye, and used simple words. She asked about her garden to put her at ease. You could see my mom relax. That kind of patience and genuine care is rare. It meant the world to us.
