Patient Experience
I'd been to a few doctors about this constant fatigue and weird joint pain. Everyone else said it was stress or just getting older. Professor Pibul actually listened to all the little details I thought were irrelevant. He ordered some specific tests I'd never had before and figured out it was a tricky autoimmune thing. He explained it in a way that finally made sense, like connecting the dots. Starting treatment has been a slow process, but at least we know what we're dealing with now.
Had to get a colonoscopy, which nobody looks forward to. The prep was as awful as everyone says, I won't lie. But on the day, at Bangpakok 9, everything just ran on time. Professor Pibul was quick and efficient. Woke up feeling fine, and he came by after to show me the pictures and said everything looked completely normal. It was a relief to have it done and dusted without any fuss.
Parking at the hospital was a bit of a hunt that morning, I was running late and flustered. But from the front desk to the nurses in the clinic, everyone was so calm and kind. They got me checked in fast. The waiting area feels more like a hotel lobby than a clinic, which definitely took the edge off. Even the phlebotomist who took my blood was really good, barely felt it. It made the whole visit less stressful.
I was really nervous before my appointment, my hands were actually shaking. Professor Pibul has this very quiet, calm way about him. He didn't rush me at all, let me get all my questions out, even the silly ones. He sat and drew a little diagram on the paper sheet to explain what was going on with my digestion. He didn't just treat the chart, he treated me. Left feeling heard, which is half the battle.
