Patient Experience
I'd been feeling off for months, tired all the time with weird aches. My old doctor just said it was stress. Dr. Sampan actually listened, asked a ton of questions I hadn't even thought about, and ran some different tests. Turns out it was a thyroid issue that wasn't showing up on the standard panel. He explained it all with a diagram on his notepad. I'm on medication now and finally feel like myself. He didn't give up when the easy answer didn't fit.
Had to get a mole checked on my back. Honestly, I was nervous at first—you never know. But Dr. Sampan made it so simple. The whole thing took maybe 20 minutes from walking in to walking out. He numbed the area, did the biopsy, and I barely felt a thing. Got the results back in a week, all clear. It was just a routine thing, but he still took the time to make sure I was comfortable.
The hospital itself is nice and modern, I'll give it that. Parking was a bit of a hunt, I had to circle twice. But once I got inside, the front desk lady saw I was lost and walked me right to Dr. Sampan's clinic. The nurse who took my vitals was really sweet, we chatted about the traffic. It's the little things, you know? The place just felt calm, not like some of the hectic hospitals I've been to.
What I remember most is how he talked to my mom. She doesn't speak much English and was really worried about her blood pressure. Dr. Sampan sat down, spoke slowly, and used his hands to explain how the heart works. He didn't rush her at all, even though we probably ran over the appointment time. She left smiling, which is rare after a doctor's visit. He just has a way of putting you at ease.
