Patient Experience
Had my gallbladder out last month. The first few days were rough, I won't lie. But Dr. Thitinun's plan for the pain was clear and actually worked. He called the hospital to check on me the evening after surgery, which helped. The nurses knew exactly what meds to give and when. It wasn't magic, I was still sore, but it was manageable. I'm back to making my own breakfast now, slowly.
Appendicitis. Went to Bangpakok 9, got Dr. Thitinun. He explained the surgery quickly, no fluff. Got it done. Pain after was bad, but the meds helped. Follow-up was straightforward. He asked the right questions, checked the incision, said I was healing fine. Parking at the hospital was a hassle, but the care was solid. Done and recovered.
I was so nervous before my hernia operation. Dr. Thitinun has a very calm way about him. He didn't just talk about the surgery, but about how I'd feel after and what to do. The recovery was... well, it's surgery, it hurt. But they stayed on top of it. I never felt like I was bothering anyone when I asked for help. It felt like he remembered me as a person, not just a procedure.
Finally got my knee sorted out! After putting it off for ages, saw Dr. Thitinun at BPK 9. The difference a week after surgery is crazy. The team had me up and moving fast, with good pain control. He's got a direct style—tells you how it is, but you can tell he knows his stuff. Just really relieved it's over and I'm on the mend. The hospital coffee is still terrible, though!
