Patient Experience
I'd been to a couple of doctors about this nagging fatigue and weird joint pain, and everyone just said it was stress. Dr. Winn actually sat and listened, asked questions I hadn't even thought about. He ordered some specific tests and figured out it was a tricky autoimmune thing. He explained it all with a diagram on his notepad, didn't rush me. Finally having a name for it and a plan was a huge relief.
Had to get a small cyst removed. Honestly, I was nervous at first, but Dr. Winn made it so straightforward. The whole thing was over in what felt like twenty minutes. He talked me through each step, the local anesthetic worked perfectly, and the stitches were so neat you can barely see the scar now. It was just a very smooth, no-drama experience.
The hospital itself is nice and modern, I'll say that. Parking was a bit of a hunt, but once inside, the front desk people were really kind and helped me find my way. The nurses in Dr. Winn's clinic were great too—calm and efficient. It just felt like a well-run place, which helps when you're not feeling your best.
What really stuck with me was how Dr. Winn talks to you. He doesn't just look at the chart. I was really worried about some test results, and he could tell. He pulled his chair up, made solid eye contact, and just said, 'Let's go through this together, step by step.' He has this calm, direct way of speaking that cuts through the anxiety. You feel like a person, not a case file.
