Patient Experience
I'd been to a couple of doctors for this nagging fatigue and pain, and everyone just said it was stress. Dr. Aparna Bhatnagar was the first one who actually listened. She asked questions no one else had, ordered some specific tests, and figured out it was a tricky autoimmune thing. She explained it all in a way that finally made sense, and we started a plan that day. I felt heard for the first time in months.
Had to get a small cyst removed. Honestly, I was pretty nervous about the whole thing. But Dr. Bhatnagar walked me through every single step beforehand, even drew a little diagram. The procedure itself was over before I knew it. The follow-up was quick and easy. It was just a straightforward thing, but she made it feel that way.
The hospital itself is nice, but what really stood out was the team. The front desk lady remembered my name when I came back for a follow-up, which was a nice touch. The nurse who took my vitals was really calming when I mentioned I was anxious. It felt like everyone was on the same page, which made the whole experience less stressful, even though the parking lot was completely full that morning.
What I'll remember most is how Dr. Bhatnagar talks to you. She doesn't just talk at you. When I got my diagnosis, I was scared, and she just sat down, looked me in the eye, and said, 'Okay, let's talk about what this actually means for your day-to-day life.' She has this calm, direct way about her that makes you feel like you're in capable hands, not just being processed.
