I was really nervous going in. It was my first time at Apollo Firstmed and I didn't know what to expect. Dr. Barath Kumar could probably tell I was anxious. He just talked to me in a really calm way, explained everything he was checking without using confusing words. He didn't rush me at all, even though I had a lot of questions. I left feeling like a weight was off my shoulders. The whole thing was much easier than I'd built up in my head.

Had a persistent stomach issue. Went to see Dr. Barath Kumar at Apollo Firstmed. He listened, asked clear questions, ordered the right tests. Got a diagnosis and a treatment plan that worked. Follow-up was efficient. Problem solved. Would recommend.

The hospital was quite busy when I went, but Dr. Kumar made the time feel... peaceful, if that makes sense. He has a very quiet, gentle way about him. He examined my son, who was feeling poorly, and spoke so kindly to him. He explained everything to me in a way that was easy to understand, without talking down to me. I felt heard, and more importantly, I felt my child was in good hands. A very kind doctor.

He figured out the issue in one visit—it was a pinched nerve, not what I thought at all. Gave me some exercises and it's already so much better. I feel like I got my life back!
