Patient Experience
I'd been to three other doctors with this weird, lingering fatigue and stomach pain. Everyone said it was stress. Dr. Jayashree actually sat and listened, really listened, to everything I said. She ordered some tests other doctors hadn't thought of and figured out it was a tricky thyroid issue combined with a mild food intolerance. It wasn't a quick fix, but having a name for it and a plan made all the difference. She's sharp.
Had to get a small cyst removed from my back. Honestly, I was more nervous about the hospital experience than the procedure itself. But at Apollo Vanagaram, from the front desk to the nurse who prepped me, everyone was calm and clear. The procedure room was spotless. Dr. Krishnan explained each step as she went, and it was over before I knew it. The whole thing felt very routine, in the best possible way.
The hospital itself is nice and modern, but what stood out was the team. My dad was admitted, and I was a mess. The ward assistant, Ramesh, went out of his way to find an extra pillow for him and showed me where to get decent coffee. It's those small things when you're worried. Dr. Jayashree was great, of course, but the kindness of her staff made a tough week much more bearable.
What I remember most is how Dr. Krishnan talks to you. I'm a senior citizen, and sometimes doctors rush or use too much jargon. She pulled her chair up, looked me in the eye, and explained my arthritis options in plain Tamil. She didn't just give orders; she asked what would work for my life at home. Felt like I was talking to a very knowledgeable, caring family member, not just a doctor in a white coat.
