Patient Experience
Had my gallbladder out with Dr. Kaushik. The first couple days were rough, I won't lie, but his team had a clear plan for the pain that actually worked. He checked on me every morning at Apollo, not just a quick pop-in, and explained what each ache probably was. Felt like I knew what to expect, which made getting through it a lot less scary.
Our 8-year-old, Rohan, had a high fever that wouldn't break and was complaining his stomach hurt. We were really worried. Dr. Kaushik at Apollo saw him, and he was so calm with Rohan, talking to him directly about his favorite cartoons while he examined him. Turned out to be a bad stomach bug. He explained everything to us parents without making us feel stupid for panicking. Rohan's fine now, back to being a menace.
Needed a general check-up and got Dr. Kaushik. Straight to the point, no fluff. Listened, asked clear questions, ordered the right tests. Got my results fast. Parking at the hospital was a nightmare, but the appointment itself was efficient. Would see him again.
I'd been putting off seeing anyone about this nagging pain in my side for months. Finally booked with Dr. Kaushik. The clinic was busy, I waited a bit, but once I was in, he didn't rush. He actually sat back and let me get the whole story out, all my little worries. He connected dots I hadn't—turns out it was linked to an old sports injury. Ordered a scan to be sure, called me himself with the results. Felt like he was solving a puzzle with me, not just processing a patient.
