Patient Experience
Our son had been tired and pale for months, and we'd seen a couple of doctors who couldn't pinpoint it. Dr. Lokesh Sharma actually sat with us for a long time, going over every little symptom we mentioned. He ordered a specific blood test the others hadn't, and it turned out to be a rare type of anemia. He explained it to us in simple terms, drew diagrams on his notepad, and we finally had a path forward. That appointment changed everything.
My daughter needed her tonsils out, which felt like a big deal to us, but Dr. Sharma made it feel routine in the best way. He walked us through each step without rushing, and on the day of, he popped his head in before surgery just to crack a silly joke with her. The whole thing was over so fast, and her recovery was exactly as he said it would be. Sometimes straightforward is exactly what you need.
We were really anxious coming to Apollo for the first time—the place is huge and parking was a nightmare. But from the moment we checked in, the nurses at Dr. Sharma's clinic were so kind. One even found a toy for my fidgety toddler while we waited. The clinic itself was bright and had these fun animal murals that totally distracted my kid. It made a stressful day much easier to handle.
What I'll remember most is how Dr. Sharma talked to my son, not just to me. He got down on his level, asked him about his school, and let him hold the stethoscope. My boy was nervous at first, but by the end, he was showing Dr. Sharma how his toy car worked. You can tell he genuinely likes kids, and that makes all the difference when they're scared.
