Patient Experience
Had my appendix out last month. The surgery itself was fine, but the first couple days after were rough. Dr. Sridhar was really clear about what to expect pain-wise and adjusted my meds a few times until it was manageable. He didn't just send me home and forget—checked in with my parents a couple times to see how I was doing. Felt like he actually cared about the recovery part, not just the operation.
As an older gentleman, I must say my visit to Dr. Sridhar was most reassuring. The hospital is large and can feel overwhelming, but he has a very calm manner. He took time to explain my persistent cough in simple terms and never made me feel rushed. I left feeling understood and with a clear plan, which is a great comfort at my age.
My kid had a high fever that wouldn't break. Took him to Apollo Children's. Dr. Sridhar saw us, figured it out fast, got him on the right meds. Kid's fine now. Straight to the point, knew his stuff. What else do you need?
We were really worried about our 8-year-old, Rohan. He'd been complaining of stomach aches for weeks, missing school. Our local doctor just said it was anxiety. At Apollo, Dr. Sridhar actually sat on the edge of the bed and talked to Rohan about his favorite cartoons for a minute before even examining him. That put him at ease. He ordered one specific scan the other doctor hadn't, found a minor issue, and sorted it. The whole thing, from the way he talked to Rohan to calling us himself with the scan results, just felt different. He saw our son, not just a symptom.
