Patient Experience
I'd been to a couple of doctors for this nagging pain that just wouldn't go away, and everyone had a different theory. Honestly, I was starting to think it was all in my head. Dr. Nagashree was different. She listened, really listened, and then ordered a specific test no one else had suggested. It turned out to be a rare type of infection. She explained it in a way that finally made sense, and the treatment she started worked. I feel like she actually solved a puzzle everyone else had given up on.
Had to get a small cyst removed last month. I was nervous at first, but Dr. Nagashree walked me through the whole thing in the clinic room itself—what she'd do, how long it would take, what to expect after. The procedure itself was over in maybe twenty minutes. She checked in the next day, just a quick call, to see how the healing was going. It was so straightforward and painless, it almost felt silly for worrying so much.
The Apollo Women's Hospital is a nice place, I have to say. It's calm, which helped a lot. I was early for my appointment and the lady at the front desk saw I was anxious; she offered me some water and made sure I was comfortable. Even the nurse who took my vitals was really gentle and chatted with me to take my mind off things. It felt like the whole team, not just the doctor, was looking out for me.
What stuck with me most about Dr. Nagashree is how she talks to you. She doesn't rush. She sits down, looks you in the eye, and answers every single question without making you feel like you're bothering her. When I got my scan results, she didn't just read them out; she drew a little diagram on her notepad to show me exactly what was going on. You don't get that kind of patience everywhere.
