Patient Experience
I'd been to three different doctors for this constant fatigue and stomach pain. Everyone said it was stress. Dr. Nithya was the first one who actually sat and mapped out my symptoms over the last year. She ordered a specific test the others hadn't, and it turned out to be a rare autoimmune thing affecting my gut. It wasn't a quick fix, but finally having a name for it and a real plan... that changed everything for me.
Had to get a minor cyst removed. Honestly, I was more nervous about the hospital experience than the procedure itself. But Dr. Nithya made it so straightforward. She explained each step right before she did it, which really kept me calm. In and out in a couple of hours, and the follow-up call from her nurse the next day was a nice touch. Felt very routine, in the best possible way.
The parking situation at Apollo was a nightmare that day, I won't lie. I was flustered by the time I got to the clinic. But the front desk lady saw it on my face and was so kind. The whole place just felt calm, even though it was busy. And when I saw Dr. Nithya, she didn't rush me at all, even though I was probably her last appointment. The environment really does make a difference when you're not feeling well.
Look, I'm not great with doctors. I get awkward. But Dr. Nithya has this way of talking *with* you, not at you. She remembers small things from previous visits, asks about my family. When she explains something medical, she'll draw a little diagram on the paper sheet. It sounds silly, but it helps. She feels like a very smart, very calm friend who also happens to know a lot about medicine.
