Patient Experience
I'd been to three other doctors for this constant fatigue and pain. They all said it was stress. Dr. Ramakrishnan actually listened, asked a ton of questions I hadn't been asked before, and ordered some specific tests. Turns out it was a thyroid issue that was messing with everything else. He explained it in a way that finally made sense. He didn't just give me pills; he laid out a plan.
Had to get a small cyst removed. Honestly, I was nervous at first, but Dr. Ramakrishnan made it seem like no big deal. The whole thing at Apollo Vanagaram was over in an hour. He talked me through each step, the local anesthetic worked perfectly, and I was back home by lunch. Sometimes simple things going right is all you need.
The hospital itself is nice and clean, but what stood out was the team. The front desk lady helped me find my file when I forgot my ID number, and the nurse who took my vitals was really calming. Even the guy who brought the wheelchair was polite. It felt like everyone was on the same page, which made a stressful day much easier to handle.
What I liked most about Dr. Ramakrishnan is that he doesn't rush you. He sits down, looks you in the eye, and lets you finish your sentences. When I was worried about a side effect, he didn't dismiss it; he took the time to explain why it might happen and what we could do. It felt like talking to a very knowledgeable, calm friend.
