Patient Experience
I'd been to three doctors about this constant fatigue and weird joint pain. Everyone said it was stress or just getting older. Dr. Selvam actually listened to the whole, messy story, asked questions the others didn't, and ordered a specific blood test. Turns out it was something pretty rare. He explained it in a way that finally made sense, without making me feel stupid for being worried. He just figured it out when no one else could.
Needed my gallbladder out. Honestly, I was nervous at first, but Dr. Selvam made it sound so straightforward. The surgery itself was fine, recovery was exactly as he said it would be—a bit sore, but manageable. No surprises, no drama. It’s just a relief to have it done and not have to think about it anymore. He does what he says he’ll do.
The hospital itself is nice and calm, which helped a lot. The front desk lady remembered my name when I came for my follow-up, which was a small thing but kind. The nurses on the floor were really patient with my million questions after surgery. Even when the parking lot was full and I was running late, they were cool about it at reception. It felt like people there actually want to help.
What I liked most about Dr. Selvam is that he doesn't rush you. He sits down, looks at you, and lets you finish talking. I had a lot of anxiety about some test results, and he didn't just brush it off. He took a few extra minutes to draw a simple diagram on his notepad to show me what was happening. It felt like talking to a really smart, calm friend who knows his stuff.
