Patient Experience
I've been seeing Dr. Sivasailam for my blood pressure and general health for almost eight years now. He remembers things from my last visit without always checking the file, which I appreciate. The clinic at Gleneagles Global can get busy and you might wait a bit, but I don't mind because I know when it's my turn, he gives me his full attention. He doesn't rush to change my medication unless there's a good reason, and that consistency is what keeps me coming back.
My mother was admitted with a bad stomach infection. Dr. Sivasailam was the one who called me directly after her tests came in, even though it was late. He explained what was happening in simple terms—what the infection was, the plan for the antibiotics, what to watch for. He didn't just talk to me; he made sure my mother understood everything too, which calmed her down a lot. We felt like we were in the loop the whole time, and that meant everything to us when we were worried.
Had a weird pain in my side that wouldn't go away. Went to see Dr. Sivasailam at Gleneagles. He was straight up—ordered the right scans, figured it was a muscle thing, gave me a clear plan. Pain's gone. Good doctor.
I was really nervous about this persistent cough and some weight loss. The parking at the hospital was a nightmare that day, which didn't help my mood. Dr. Sivasailam had a very calm way about him. He listened to me list off all my WebMD-fueled fears without making me feel silly. He asked about my work stress, my sleep, things I hadn't even connected. Instead of just sending me for a barrage of tests immediately, he suggested we start with a couple of specific ones based on what he heard. Turns out it was a combination of acid reflux and anxiety, which he explained can mimic scarier things. The way he pieced it together, focusing on the story I was telling him, not just the symptoms on a chart, really put me at ease.
