Patient Experience
My 5-year-old son had a high fever that wouldn't break, and I was terrified. Dr. Sowmya was so calm and patient with him—she actually got him to smile while she checked his ears. She explained everything to me in simple terms, didn't rush us, and called the next day to check on him. The whole experience at Apollo Children's, even though the waiting room was packed, made me feel like my child was really seen and cared for.
As an older gentleman, I sometimes feel doctors hurry through appointments. Dr. Dogiparthi was different. She listened carefully to all my minor complaints, asked thoughtful questions, and made sure I understood the treatment plan. Her manner was very kind and respectful. The hospital environment was comfortable, and I left feeling reassured and in good hands.
Had a bad stomach bug. Saw Dr. Sowmya Naga Dogiparthi at Apollo. She was straight to the point, figured it out fast, and the meds worked. Good experience.
I took my daughter in for what I thought was just a seasonal cough. Dr. Sowmya noticed she was rubbing her eyes a lot and asked a bunch of questions I hadn't even thought about—like about our new pet and the dust from some home renovations. Turns out, it was a mild allergy triggering the cough. I was so focused on the lungs, I missed the eyes! She connected the dots I never would have. The parking garage was full that day, so we had to park far, but honestly, it was worth the walk for that kind of careful attention.
