Patient Experience
I'd been to a couple of doctors for this nagging fatigue and stomach pain, and everyone just said it was stress. Dr. Sunita Samal was different. She actually listened, asked about things no one else did, and ordered a specific test the others hadn't. Turns out it was a tricky thyroid issue masquerading as something else. She explained it all on a notepad, drawing little diagrams. I'm finally on the right treatment.
Had to get a small cyst removed. Honestly, I was nervous at first, but Dr. Samal made it so straightforward. The whole thing at Apollo Women's Hospital was over in what felt like minutes. She checked in right after, and the follow-up instructions were clear. It was just a simple thing, but it's a relief when something routine actually stays routine.
The clinic was busy and I had to wait a bit, which I expected. What stood out was how the nurse at Apollo was so calming while taking my vitals, and the receptionist helped sort out my paperwork without any fuss. Dr. Samal was great, of course, but the whole team there just made a potentially stressful check-up feel manageable.
What I remember most is how Dr. Samal talks to you. She doesn't rush. When I was worried about some test results, she sat down, looked me in the eye, and just said, 'Let's go through this together, step by step.' She has this quiet way of making you feel like you're the only patient she has that day. It makes all the difference.
