Patient Experience
I was a total wreck before my appointment. First time seeing a doctor on my own and I was convinced it was something serious. Dr. Katare just had this calm way about her. She actually listened to all my weird symptoms without making me feel silly, explained everything in simple terms, and by the time I left, I felt like a weight was off my shoulders. The hospital was busy but she made the whole thing less scary.
As someone who can't afford to be out of commission, I needed a doctor who gets to the point. Had a stubborn flu that wouldn't quit. Saw Dr. Katare at Sarvodaya. Appointment was on time, she diagnosed it quickly, prescribed what was needed, and I was back at my desk the next day. Efficient and effective exactly what I look for.
Look, I don't do doctors. But my cough was getting ridiculous. Friend said try Dr. Katare. She's straight up. No sugar-coating. Told me exactly what was going on, why the stuff I bought wasn't working, and what to do. Fixed me up in one visit. Parking's a nightmare there, just a heads up.
I'd been feeling run-down for weeks. Tired, achy, just not myself. I put it off, but my wife finally made the appointment. The clinic was running a little behind that day, which I expected. When I saw Dr. Katare, she didn't just brush it off as stress. She asked a ton of questions about my routine, my diet, everything. Ordered a couple of blood tests right there to check my vitamin levels. Called me herself with the results two days later turns out I was seriously low on Vitamin D. Started the supplements she suggested, and I've been feeling like a new person for the last month. She really dug to find the root cause.
