Patient Experience
I'd been to three doctors for this nagging stomach pain and fatigue. Everyone said it was stress. Dr. Sharan was the first one who actually sat and listened, really listened, to everything I was saying. He ordered a specific test the others hadn't, and it turned out to be a tricky thyroid issue, not just stress. He explained it in a way that finally made sense. I feel like a different person now.
Had to get a small cyst removed from my back. Honestly, I was pretty nervous about it. The whole thing at Sarvodaya was surprisingly straightforward. Dr. Sharan talked me through each step before he did it, which helped a lot. The procedure itself was quick, and the stitches healed up nicely. It was one of those medical things you dread, but it ended up being no big deal.
The parking at the hospital was a nightmare that day, completely full. I was already flustered when I got to the clinic. But the lady at the front desk was so calm and found my file right away. The nurse who took my vitals was really kind, and the whole place just felt clean and organized. It made a stressful start to the visit much better.
What I remember most is how Dr. Sharan talks to you. I'm not great with medical terms, and he never made me feel silly for asking 'what does that mean?' He draws little diagrams on his notepad sometimes. When I was worried about a treatment side effect, he didn't dismiss it; he just laid out what we could do about it. You feel like you're figuring it out together.
