Patient Experience
I'd been to three other doctors for this nagging fatigue and joint pain. Everyone said it was stress. Dr. Puja Kapoor actually listened, asked a ton of questions I hadn't been asked before, and ordered some specific tests. Turns out it was something pretty rare. She explained it all with a diagram on her notepad didn't rush me at all. I finally feel like we're on the right track.
Had to get a small cyst removed. Honestly, I was nervous at first, but Dr. Kapoor made it so straightforward. The whole thing at Sarvodaya was over in maybe 30 minutes. She talked me through each step, the local anesthetic worked perfectly, and I was back home with a cup of tea before lunch. Sometimes simple things are done well, and that matters.
The hospital itself is busy, I won't lie parking was a nightmare that day. But once I got inside for my appointment, the front desk people were really patient. The nurse who took my vitals had a nice way about her, and the whole place in Sector 8 felt clean and calm. It made a long wait a bit easier to handle.
What stuck with me was how Dr. Kapoor talks to you. I'm an older patient, and sometimes doctors just speak to my son. Not her. She looks right at me, asks if I understand, and never makes me feel silly for asking a question. She has a quiet, steady way about her that just makes you feel safe.
