Patient Experience
My husband, Mr. Sharma, was admitted under Dr. Puja Rai at Sarvodaya. We were all very worried, but she took the time to explain everything to us in simple words, not just medical jargon. She even called me in the evening to give an update when his fever finally broke. It felt like she was treating our whole family, not just the patient.
Had a weird pain in my side for weeks. Saw Dr. Rai. She listened, didn't rush me, figured it out. Got the right meds, feeling much better now. Simple as that.
I'm 78 and was quite nervous about my check-up, especially going to a big hospital like Sarvodaya in Sector 8. Dr. Rai has a very calm way about her. She made sure I was comfortable, explained my new blood pressure medicine slowly so I understood, and her nurse was very kind helping me up from the chair. It was a reassuring visit.
Okay, so my story with Dr. Rai started in the worst way I fainted at work. Rushed to Sarvodaya's emergency, totally out of it. When I came around, Dr. Rai was there. She didn't just treat the fainting spell; she noticed my skin was unusually pale and asked a ton of questions about my energy levels, which I'd been blaming on work stress. Long story short, she ordered the right tests and found I was severely anemic. I've been on treatment for a month now, and the difference is night and day. She connected dots other doctors I'd seen just missed.
