Patient Experience
I was so nervous going to a new doctor, especially at a big hospital like Sarvodaya. My hands were shaking in the waiting room. But Dr. Maqbool was so calm and actually listened to all my weird symptoms without making me feel silly. He explained everything in simple terms and didn't rush me out. I left feeling like I could finally breathe again.
My 8-year-old had a high fever that wouldn't break, and we were really scared. Dr. Umar Maqbool at Sarvodaya Hospital saw him right away. He was so gentle with my son, talking to him directly and even making a little joke about superheroes to get him to open his mouth for the check. He took the time to explain to us, the parents, exactly what was happening and what the medicine would do. We felt completely looked after.
Had a stubborn cough for weeks. Went to Dr. Maqbool at Sarvodaya Sector 8. He figured it out, gave me a prescription. Feeling better now. Straightforward guy, which I appreciate.
Okay, so I'd been putting off seeing a doctor about this nagging pain in my side for ages. Finally bit the bullet and booked with Dr. Maqbool. The parking at the hospital was a nightmare, I was late and flustered. He was running a bit behind too, but when I got in, he was totally focused. He asked a ton of questions, even some I thought were unrelated, and then had me do a couple of simple movements. Instead of jumping to scans, he said it was likely a muscle thing from the way I sit at work and gave me some stretches. It's been two weeks, and the pain is almost gone. He saved me a lot of time and worry.
