Patient Experience
Had my gallbladder out last week. The surgery itself was fine, but the first two days after were rough. Dr. Madhumitha was really on top of my pain meds, adjusting them a few times until it was manageable. She checked on me every morning and evening at MGM, which helped a lot. I'm home now and the recovery is going okay, just taking it slow.
As an older person, hospital visits can be quite unsettling. Dr. Madhumitha at MGM Hospital made the experience far more comfortable. She explained my condition and the treatment for my persistent cough in a clear, patient manner. Her calm presence was very reassuring. I felt well looked after.
Went to Dr. Madhumitha for a bad stomach thing that wouldn't go away. She figured it out fast, gave me a prescription that actually worked. No nonsense, got straight to the point. Would see her again.
I'd been putting off seeing a doctor about this nagging pain in my side for weeks, thinking it would just go away. Finally went to MGM, a bit nervous. Dr. Madhumitha listened without rushing me, asked a lot of questions I hadn't even thought about. She ordered a couple of scans—the waiting area was packed, so it took a while—but she called me herself with the results later that evening. Turned out to be a minor infection, nothing serious. The way she handled it, from the first worried visit to the follow-up call, just made me feel like I was in good hands.
