Patient Experience
I'd been to a couple of doctors about this nagging fatigue and stomach pain. Everyone had a different theory. Dr. Karan Saraf actually sat me down, listened to my whole history again, and ordered a specific test the others hadn't. Turns out it was a tricky vitamin deficiency causing a cascade of issues. He explained it in a way that finally made sense. I'm on a simple supplement now and feel like a different person.
Had to get a small cyst removed. Honestly, I was nervous at first, but Dr. Saraf made it so straightforward. The whole thing at Apollo Excelcare was over in what felt like twenty minutes. He talked me through each step as he worked, which really kept me calm. The stitches were neat, healing was a breeze, and the follow-up was quick. It was just... easy.
The parking at Apollo was a bit of a mess that morning, I won't lie. But once I got inside, the front desk lady saw I was flustered and helped me right away. The nurse who took my vitals was really kind and chatted with me to pass the time. Even the cleaner in the hallway gave me a smile. It made waiting for Dr. Saraf much less stressful.
What I remember most is how Dr. Saraf talked to my elderly mother. She gets confused easily. He didn't rush her. He pulled his chair up close, looked her in the eye, and explained her new medication using a story about her favorite plants. He has this calm, patient way about him that just puts you at ease. You feel like you're his only patient that day.
