Patient Experience
I'd been to a couple of doctors about this nagging fatigue and joint pain, everyone said it was just stress. Dr. Kasturi Hazarika was different. She actually sat and listened, asked questions I hadn't been asked before, and ordered some specific tests others hadn't. Turns out it was something pretty rare. She explained it all to me in my own language, without making me feel stupid. She didn't just give me pills; she gave me a plan I could actually follow.
Had to get a small cyst removed. Honestly, I was nervous at first, but Dr. Hazarika made it feel like no big deal. The whole thing was over in what felt like minutes. She talked me through each step as she was doing it, which really kept my mind off things. The stitches were so neat you can barely see them now. It was one of those medical things you dread, but it ended up being completely straightforward.
The parking at Apollo Excelcare was a nightmare that day, completely full. I walked in flustered and late. But the lady at the front desk was so calm, she got me sorted quickly. The nurse who took my vitals had a really kind way about her, and the whole place just felt clean and quiet, not chaotic. It made waiting for my appointment with Dr. Hazarika much less stressful.
What I remember most is how Dr. Hazarika talks to you. She doesn't just look at the file; she looks at you. When I told her I was scared about the blood test results, she didn't dismiss it. She pulled her chair closer, looked me in the eye, and said, 'Let's look at the numbers together and I'll tell you what each one means.' That meant more than any prescription.
