Patient Experience
My dad was admitted to Apollo Excelcare with a bad fever and we were all really worried. Dr. Patawari was the one who explained everything to us in simple terms, not just medical jargon. He took the time to call me directly with updates when I couldn't be there, and actually listened to our family's concerns. It made a stressful situation so much easier to handle.
I've always been scared of doctors, so putting off a check-up for ages. Finally went to see Dr. Pankaj Patawari and was a nervous wreck in the waiting room. But he was just... calm. He didn't rush me, answered all my probably silly questions without making me feel dumb, and by the end of it, I felt silly for being so anxious. Actually looking forward to my follow-up, which is saying something for me.
Had a stubborn stomach issue for weeks. Saw Dr. Patawari at Apollo Guwahati. He figured it out fast, gave me a clear plan. No fuss, got the job done. Feeling much better now.
It started with this dull ache in my side that wouldn't quit. After a couple of days, I dragged myself to Apollo Excelcare. The waiting area was packed, and I almost left. Dr. Patawari's nurse finally called my name. He had this quiet way about him—asked questions, actually let me finish my sentences. He suspected it might be my gallbladder and sent me for a scan right there in the hospital. Called me himself later that evening with the results, which was a surprise. He walked me through the options, never pushed one over the other. Ended up needing a small procedure, and he checked on me after, even though it was a weekend. The whole thing just felt handled, from start to finish.
