Patient Experience
I'd been to a couple of doctors for this nagging fatigue and pain, and everyone had a different theory. Honestly, I was getting frustrated. Dr. Ankit Vijay Agarwal actually sat and listened to my whole history, asked questions the others hadn't. He connected some dots I thought were unrelated and ordered a specific test. Turns out it was something pretty rare. He explained it all on a notepad, drew a little diagram. I finally felt like someone saw the whole picture, not just the symptoms.
Had to get a minor cyst removed. Was nervous at first, but Dr. Agarwal made it sound so straightforward. The whole thing at Apollo Health City was quick – in and out in a few hours. The procedure itself was fine, barely felt a thing. The best part was there were no surprises. He told me exactly how the recovery would go, and he was right. It healed up just like he said it would. Sometimes simple is good.
The place is huge – I got a bit lost finding the right wing, and the parking was packed. But once I checked in, the staff at the front desk were really patient. The nurse who took my vitals had a nice way of chatting that put me at ease. The whole clinic area felt calm and clean, which helps when you're waiting. It didn't feel like a factory, you know? Dr. Agarwal's team there seems to have it together.
What stuck with me was how Dr. Agarwal talks to you. He doesn't rush. He came in, shook my hand, and just... sat down. Asked how I was *feeling*, not just what was wrong. When he explained my treatment plan, he looked at me, not the computer, to make sure I understood. It's a small thing, but it makes you feel like a person, not a case file. That kind of respect is hard to find.
