Patient Experience
I'd been feeling off for months, just tired and achy all over. A few other doctors had basically shrugged. Dr. Bandi Sahithya actually sat and listened to my whole history, asked a bunch of questions that seemed random at the time, and ordered some specific tests. Turns out it was a thyroid issue that was messing with everything else. She explained it in a way that finally made sense. I'm on treatment now and starting to feel like myself again. It was a relief to have someone really dig into it.
Had to get a small cyst removed. Honestly, I was nervous at first, but Dr. Sahithya walked me through the whole thing in the clinic itself. The procedure itself was over in maybe twenty minutes. She kept checking if I was okay, and the nurse was really calming. The parking at Apollo was a nightmare that day, but once I was inside, everything was straightforward. Follow-up was simple, and the scar is healing nicely.
What stood out to me was the whole team. From the front desk person who helped me reschedule when I was running late, to the nurse who took my vitals and made a little joke to ease my nerves. The clinic area felt clean and calm, not chaotic. It made the visit less stressful. Dr. Sahithya was great, of course, but it felt like a well-run place where everyone knew what they were doing.
I really appreciate how Dr. Sahithya talks to you. She doesn't rush. When I was worried about some medication side effects, she didn't dismiss it; she took the time to explain why she chose it and what we could try instead. She has a quiet, direct way about her that makes you feel heard. You don't feel like just another file on the desk.
