Patient Experience
I'd been to a couple of doctors about this constant fatigue and weird stomach pain. Everyone just said it was stress. Dr. Laveina actually sat down with my file for ages, asked about stuff no one else did, and ordered a specific test I'd never heard of. Turns out it was a pretty rare vitamin absorption issue. She explained it all with a diagram on her notepad—didn't rush me at all. Finally having an answer, and a plan, was such a relief.
Had to get a small cyst removed. Honestly, I was nervous at first, but Dr. Mallela made it so straightforward. The whole thing at Star Hospital was over in what felt like twenty minutes. She talked me through each step as she did it, which really kept my mind off things. The incision is tiny, healed up perfectly. It was just a simple thing, but she treated it with real care.
Parking at Banjara Hills is always a nightmare, and I was running late for my appointment. I got to Star Hospital flustered, but the front desk lady was so calm. She got me checked in quickly, and the nurse who took my vitals was really kind, asking about my work. The whole place just felt clean and quiet, not chaotic. It set a good tone before I even saw the doctor.
What I remember most is how Dr. Mallela listens. I'm an anxious person and I ask a lot of questions, sometimes the same one twice. She never makes me feel silly for it. She'll put her pen down, look right at me, and answer until I get it. During my last check-up, she noticed I seemed worried about something else entirely and asked about it. She just has a way of making you feel like you're the only patient she has that day.
