Patient Experience
Had my gallbladder out last week. The surgery itself is a blur, but I remember Dr. Reddy checking on me a lot after. He was really clear about what pain to expect and when, and which meds to take. It wasn't fun, but I never felt like the pain was out of control. The nurses at Star Hospital were great too, very on top of things.
As someone of my age, one is often apprehensive about hospital visits. Dr. Reddy put me at ease immediately. He listened patiently to all my concerns about my persistent cough and explained the treatment plan in a way I could understand. His manner is very reassuring. I felt well looked after during my stay at the hospital.
Went to Dr. Reddy for a nasty skin infection. He took one look, knew what it was, and got me sorted with the right meds. No fuss, no unnecessary tests. Followed up with a call to check it was clearing up. Solid doctor.
I'd been putting off this hernia repair for months, just dreading the whole process. From the first consult, Dr. Reddy was straight with me—told me exactly what to expect, the good and the not-so-good. The day of, I was pretty nervous waiting, but he came by beforehand just to chat, which helped. Recovery's been tough, I won't lie, but he warned me about that too. What sticks with me is that he remembered small things, like asking about my dog when I was being discharged. Felt like he saw me as a person, not just a procedure.
