Patient Experience
I'd been to three other doctors about my constant fatigue and stomach issues, everyone just said it was stress. Dr. Radhika at Star Hospital actually listened, asked a ton of questions I hadn't been asked before, and ordered some specific tests. Turns out it was a tricky thyroid thing that was messing with everything else. She explained it all on a notepad, drew little diagrams. Finally felt like someone had found the right puzzle piece.
Had to get a small cyst removed. Honestly, I was more nervous about the hospital experience than the procedure itself. But from check-in to discharge at Star Hospital, it was just... straightforward. Dr. Radhika was quick and clear, the whole thing took maybe 40 minutes. I was back home by lunch, sore but relieved. Sometimes you just want no surprises, and that's exactly what I got.
Parking at Banjara Hills is always a nightmare, so I was already flustered when I got to Star Hospital. But the lady at the front desk was really kind, got me sorted fast. The place is calm, clean, doesn't have that harsh clinical smell. Even the nurse who took my vitals cracked a small joke that actually made me smile. It made a stressful morning much easier to handle.
My teenage son had to see Dr. Radhika. He hates doctors, clams up completely. She didn't talk down to him. She asked him about his cricket team first, got him chatting. By the end, he was the one explaining his symptoms to her. She has this way of making you feel like you're in the room together figuring it out, not like you're just being told what to do.
