Patient Experience
I'd been to a couple of doctors for this nagging fatigue and pain, and everyone just said it was stress. Dr. Sharmila was the first one who actually listened. She ordered a few specific tests others hadn't thought of and sat me down to explain what was going on. It turned out to be something pretty rare, and her figuring it out so quickly probably saved me from a lot worse trouble down the line. She just didn't give up.
Had to get a minor cyst removed. Honestly, I was more nervous about the hospital experience than the procedure itself. But with Dr. Sharmila, it was all very straightforward. She explained each step in the clinic, and the day of, it was over before I knew it. Recovery was exactly as she said it would be—no surprises. Sometimes simple and smooth is exactly what you need.
The Apollo facility is nice, sure, but what really stood out was her team. The front desk remembered my name on my second visit, which was a nice touch. Her assistant was really patient when I was filling out forms and even helped me find a quieter spot to wait because the main area was a bit busy that day. It felt like people there actually wanted to help, not just process you.
Look, I don't really like hospitals. I get anxious. But Dr. Sharmila has this calm way about her. She doesn't rush you. When I was explaining my symptoms, she just put her pen down and listened. She asks questions that make you think, and she never makes you feel silly for being worried. That kind of patience is rare, and it makes all the difference when you're not feeling well.
