Patient Experience
Had my gallbladder out last month. The first few days were rough, I won't lie. But Dr. Basu's team had a clear plan for the pain. They didn't just throw pills at me; they explained what to expect each day and when to ease off the meds. The follow-up call a week later was a nice touch—answered my questions about the incision site. I'm back to walking the dog now, just slower.
Appendicitis. Went to Apollo Health City, saw Dr. Vimee Bindra Basu. Explained the procedure clearly. Surgery went fine. Check-up was efficient. Recovering well. Would recommend.
I was quite nervous before my hernia operation. Dr. Basu has a very calm way about her. She took time to listen to all my worries, even the silly ones, and never made me feel rushed. The hospital was busy—I did wait a bit for my pre-op paperwork—but once I was in her care, I felt reassured. My recovery has been smooth, and for that, I'm very grateful.
Finally got my knee sorted! After putting it off for years, I saw Dr. Basu. She was straight up about the rehab being the hard part, and she was right. But man, what a difference now. The team at Apollo was great, even when I was a grumpy patient the day after surgery. Parking's a nightmare there, but worth it. I can actually play with my grandkids without wincing. So glad I did it.
