Patient Experience
I'd been to a few doctors about this nagging fatigue and stomach issue, everyone said it was stress. Dr. Yazici was different. He actually sat and listened, asked questions no one else had. He ordered a specific test the others hadn't thought of, and it turned out to be something pretty uncommon. He explained it all to me with a diagram on his notepad, didn't just throw a medical term at me. Finally having an answer, and a plan, was a massive relief.
Needed my gallbladder out, which honestly scared me. But from the first meeting, Dr. Yazici laid out the whole laparoscopic process step-by-step. The surgery itself was, well, surgery, I was nervous! But it went just as he said it would. Recovery was straightforward, and his check-up afterwards was quick but thorough. It felt very routine for him, which in a good way made me feel like I was in safe hands.
The hospital itself is modern, I'll give it that. Parking was a bit of a hunt, I won't lie. But once inside, everyone from the front desk to the nurses in the pre-op room was really kind. They could see I was anxious and kept checking in. It wasn't just Dr. Yazici; the whole team made a difficult day feel manageable. Even the anesthesiologist cracked a joke that actually made me smile before I went under.
What stuck with me was how Dr. Yazici talks to you. He doesn't talk down to you. I had a million questions written on my phone, and he went through every single one without making me feel rushed. He has this calm way about him, when he walks in the room, you just feel like things are going to be okay. He remembers little things, too, like asking about my daughter's exams from our last chat.
