Patient Experience
Had my gallbladder out last Tuesday. The first couple days were rough, I won't lie. But Prof. Şanel and his team had a clear plan for the pain. They checked on me often, adjusted things when needed, and explained what each ache probably was. It wasn't magic, but it was managed. I'm home now, moving a little easier each day. The follow-up call from his office yesterday was a nice touch.
Appendicitis. Went to Anadolu Medical Center in a lot of pain. Prof. Şanel saw me quickly, confirmed it needed to come out, and did the surgery that evening. Everything went fine. He was direct, no-nonsense, which I actually appreciated when I was scared. I was discharged in two days. No complications. Good experience.
I was so nervous before my hernia operation. Prof. Şanel has a very calm way about him. He listened to all my worries and didn't rush me. The surgery itself went smoothly, and the nurses were wonderful with the aftercare. My recovery has been steady. I'm just very grateful for the care I received from him and everyone at the hospital.
After years of putting it off, I finally had my knee surgery with Prof. Şanel. What a relief! The man knows his stuff. The waiting room was busy, sure, but once I was in with him, he gave me his full attention. I'm already walking without that constant grind. My only regret is not doing this sooner. The whole team at Anadolu was fantastic.
