Patient Experience
My dad was admitted with a bad fever and we were all really scared. Dr. Ajay was the one who actually sat us down in the waiting area and explained everything in simple terms—what the tests meant, what the plan was. He didn't just talk to the patient, he talked to the family. He gave us his direct number and answered our calls, even at night. That meant more than anything.
As a senior citizen, one often feels like a number in a large hospital. My experience with Dr. Ajay Joy K. at Apollo Adlux was quite the opposite. He was very patient, never rushed me, and explained my condition and the medication in a clear manner. The hospital itself is large, but he made the process feel comfortable. I would certainly recommend him to my friends.
Had a weird stomach thing going on for weeks. Saw Dr. Ajay. He listened, didn't interrupt, ordered the right tests. Figured it out, gave me a clear plan. Fixed. No nonsense, which I appreciate. Good doc.
I walked into Apollo Adlux with what I thought was just exhaustion. Dr. Ajay, though, picked up on a detail I'd brushed off—a slight shortness of breath when I climbed stairs. He was calm but thorough, asking questions about my family history I hadn't even considered. He sent me for a specific heart scan I'd never heard of. Turns out, it wasn't just tiredness. I had a minor heart issue that needed managing. The waiting room was packed that day, and I was nervous, but the way he connected the dots probably saved me from a bigger problem down the line. I'm on medication now and feel completely different.
