Patient Experience
I've been seeing Dr. Alokananda Das for my diabetes and blood pressure for over eight years now, back when she was at a smaller clinic. I followed her to Apollo. That's the thing—you find a doctor who actually listens, remembers your history without checking the file every two minutes, and you stick with them. She's never rushed me, even when the waiting room is packed. My health has been stable because of that consistency. It's just trust, plain and simple.
At my age, a trip to the hospital can be quite daunting. Dr. Das has a very calming manner. She explained my arthritis medication changes in a way I could properly understand, and she always asks after my general well-being, not just the ailment I came for. The clinic at Apollo is very clean, I must say, though the parking can be a challenge. I feel I am in good hands with her.
Had a nasty flu that wouldn't quit. Got an appointment with Dr. Das. She was straight to the point, asked the right questions, prescribed what was needed. No fuss. Felt better in a couple of days. Would see her again.
I was really nervous—first major health scare, and everything felt overwhelming. From the moment I walked into Dr. Das's room, she changed that. She saw my anxiety, I think, and just talked me through it. She drew a little diagram on her notepad to show what was probably going on with my stomach, which sounds silly but it really helped. The tests she ordered were explained, not just listed. Yeah, I had to wait a bit for my slot, but once I was in there, she gave me her full attention. Left feeling heard and with a clear plan, which is all you can ask for.
