Appendicitis. Went to Manipal in a lot of pain. Dr. Amlan Mondal saw me quickly, confirmed it needed to come out, and did the surgery that evening. It was straightforward. He checked on me the next morning, said the surgery went fine, and when I could go home. No fuss. I'm healing well.

I was so nervous about my hernia operation. Dr. Mondal has a very calm way about him. He took time to draw a little picture for me, showing exactly what he would do. After the surgery, he was very gentle when checking the incision. My recovery has been smoother than I feared. I felt truly cared for.
