Patient Experience
I'd been to a couple of doctors about this constant fatigue and stomach trouble, and everyone just said it was stress. Dr. Chirosree Sanyal was the first one who actually listened. She asked questions no one else had, ordered some specific tests, and figured out it was a tricky thyroid issue that was messing with everything else. She explained it all on a notepad, drawing little diagrams. I finally feel like I'm getting somewhere.
Had to get a small cyst removed. Honestly, I was pretty nervous about the whole thing. But Dr. Sanyal made it so straightforward. The procedure itself was quick, and she talked me through each step as she went. It was over before I knew it. The follow-up was just as easy in and out. Sometimes simple things are the best.
The place was busy parking took a while but once I got inside, it felt calm. The front desk people were really patient with my paperwork. What stood out was Dr. Sanyal's assistant; she remembered my name from the last visit and asked how my recovery was going while we waited. It's those little things that make you feel like a person, not just a file.
Look, I don't do well with doctors. I get fidgety. But Dr. Sanyal has this way about her. She doesn't rush. She sat down, looked at me, not her computer, and just said, 'So, tell me what's bothering you.' She didn't interrupt. When she did talk, it was clear and kind of funny, actually. She made a scary situation feel manageable.
