Patient Experience
Had my gallbladder removed last month. The first few days were rough, I won't lie. But Dr. Chowdhury's team had a clear plan for the pain. They didn't just throw pills at me; they explained what to expect each day and when to ease off the meds. The follow-up call to check on my pain levels really helped. I'm moving around much better now, just taking it slow.
Appendicitis. Went to Manipal in a lot of pain. Dr. Neha Chowdhury saw me, explained the surgery simply, and got it done. The nursing staff was good. I was out in a couple days. Follow-up was clear. No fuss, good result.
I was quite nervous before my hernia operation. Dr. Chowdhury has a very calm way about her. She listened to all my worries, even the silly ones, and never made me feel rushed. The hospital was busy I did wait a bit to be admitted but once in her care, I felt safe. My recovery is going smoothly, and for that, I'm very grateful.
Finally got my knee sorted! After putting it off for ages, saw Dr. Chowdhury at Manipal. She was straight up about the surgery and recovery time. The anaesthesia team was great, woke up feeling okay. The physio plan she set is tough but it's working. So relieved to be on the mend and walking without that constant ache. Parking at the hospital is a nightmare, though!
