Patient Experience
I've been seeing Dr. Chatterjee for my blood pressure and general health for almost eight years now. The clinic at Apollo can get busy, but he always remembers the small things—asks about my daughter by name, recalls which medication gave me a side effect years ago. That consistency is what keeps me coming back. I don't need a fancy doctor, I need one who knows my history and I can trust to be straight with me, and that's him.
My 7-year-old had a high fever that just wouldn't break, and we were really scared. Dr. Chatterjee was so calm with her. He got down to her level, explained the thermometer was a 'tiny light saber', and took his time. He didn't just throw antibiotics at us; he explained it was likely viral and walked us through exactly what to watch for. We left feeling less panicked and with a clear plan. He treated our worry as seriously as he treated her fever.
Had a weird pain in my side. Saw Dr. Chatterjee. He was direct, ordered the right tests, figured it out. Fixed it. Parking at Apollo is always a nightmare, but he's good.
I went in for what I thought was just a bad case of heartburn that wouldn't quit. Dr. Chatterjee listened to me list off my symptoms, then leaned back and said, 'Let's talk about your stress levels at work.' I was annoyed at first—I wanted a scan, not a chat. But he patiently connected the dots between my job, my diet, and the pain. He sketched a little diagram on his notepad to show how stress was affecting my gut. We made a plan for diet changes and some follow-up, no expensive tests needed. That was two months ago, and the pain's been gone since week three. He saw the whole picture when I was just focused on the one ache.
