Patient Experience
I'd been to a couple of doctors about this nagging fatigue and stomach issue, and everyone just said it was stress. Dr. Tarafdar was different. He actually listened to the whole, messy story, asked questions no one else had, and ordered a specific test. Turns out it was a tricky thyroid thing that was mimicking other problems. He explained it in a way that finally made sense. I'm on treatment now and feel like myself again.
Had to get a small cyst removed from my back. Honestly, I was nervous about the whole thing. Dr. Tarafdar walked me through exactly what he'd do, and the procedure itself was over before I knew it. The follow-up was just as simple he checked the site, gave clear instructions, and that was that. Sometimes you just want something straightforward, and that's exactly what I got.
The parking at Manipal Dhakuria is always a bit of a hunt, I won't lie! But once inside, it makes a difference. The front desk people remembered my name when I came for my second visit, which was a nice touch. The whole place feels calm, not chaotic. It made waiting for my appointment with Dr. Tarafdar less stressful, and the nurses in his section were really kind.
What stuck with me most was how Dr. Tarafdar talks to you. I'm not great with medical terms, and he could tell. He drew a little diagram on his notepad to show me what was going on with my knee. Didn't rush me, let me ask my silly questions, and had this really calm way about him. You don't always get that a doctor who makes you feel like you're the only person he has to see that day.
