Patient Experience
The hospital itself is busy, parking was a bit of a hunt that morning, I won't lie. But once I got in, the front desk people were really kind and pointed me in the right direction. The nurse who took my vitals was cheerful and got my mind off my nerves. It's the little thingsclean waiting area, clear signsthat made a stressful day a bit easier to handle.
What stuck with me about Dr. Mamatha was how she talks to you. She doesn't rush. When I was worried about my son's fever, she sat down, looked at me, and really heard my concerns. She has this calm way of explaining things that just makes you feel safe. You don't feel like just another file on her desk.
I'd been to a couple of doctors for months with this weird fatigue and stomach pain, and everyone just said it was stress. Dr. Mamatha actually listened. She asked questions no one else did, ordered some specific tests, and figured out it was a tricky thyroid issue combined with a mild food intolerance. She explained it all on a notepad, drawing little diagrams. I finally feel like I have a real answer, not just a brush-off.
Had to get a small cyst removed from my back. Honestly, I was nervous at first, but Dr. Mamatha made the whole thing feel normal. The procedure itself was quick, she talked me through each step, and the stitches were so neat you can barely see them now. The best part was there were no surprisesit was exactly what she said it would be. Back to my gardening in no time.
