Patient Experience
I'd been feeling off for months, just tired and achy. A couple of other doctors said it was stress. Dr. Samad was different. He actually sat and listened, asked a bunch of questions I hadn't been asked before, and ordered some specific tests. Turns out it was a thyroid issue that was flying under the radar. He explained it all on a notepad, drawing little diagrams. I finally feel like I'm getting back to normal.
Had to get a small cyst removed. Honestly, I was pretty nervous about the whole thing. The procedure itself at Medicover was quick, and Dr. Samad talked me through each step as he did it. The worst part was probably the parking lot being really full that morning. Recovery was exactly as he said it would besimple and straightforward. No surprises, which is what you want.
The clinic was busy when I went, I had to wait a bit. But what stood out was the nurse at the front desk. My dad was with me and getting confused about the paperwork, and she was so patient, helping him fill it out line by line without making him feel rushed. The whole place felt calm, even when it was full. It made a stressful day much easier.
Look, I don't really like going to the doctor. Dr. Samad has this very calm, direct way about him. He doesn't sugarcoat things, but he also doesn't talk down to you. When I was worried about some test results, he didn't just say 'don't worry.' He took the time to show me the numbers, compare them to the last ones, and explain what we were looking for. Felt like I was talking to a really knowledgeable person, not just a medical authority.
